Welcome to First Step Kitchen, a welcoming space founded with a purpose that was inspired by a calling from the Holy Spirit. After receiving this guidance, I felt compelled to return to Cape Town and establish this kitchen as a beacon of hope and sustenance for individuals in need, regardless of their housing situation.
In our society, there are numerous individuals who, despite being able to cover their rent expenses, often find themselves struggling to afford basic necessities such as food. This realization stirred within me a profound desire to address this issue directly. Thus, First Step Kitchen was born with a clear mission: to bridge the gap between those who have enough to pay for housing but not always enough to put food on the table.
